Japan Expo X Tokyo Crazy Kawaii: Part 2 (Notall & Others)

Time to visit some social idols!

Social idols notall

Social idols? Yeap thats how Notall presented themselves as such. In the advent of social media where people love to post and upload photos online, this group capitalise on the trend by allowing fans to take photos and videos of their performances. Other usual idol groups rarely have such allowance. Just add in hashtags like #notall_photo or #notall_movie to twitter should you take photos and videos respectively. True to the 'social idol' tag, their songs and even costumes are a collaborative effort with fans.

Japan Expo X Tokyo Crazy Kawaii - Part 1 (Akishibu Project & FESTIVE)

Bangkok recently held a massive J-Culture event in Central World. The event is so massive that I have to cut my articles into 2 parts.

This event was supposed to be held last year August. However, 2 weeks prior to the event, Bangkok was hit by a horrific bomb blast which postphoned the event to another date. Perhaps in a show of support and solidarity, the line-up was increased for this event and we have no shortage of idol goodness.

Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2015 - Everybody DD Mode

Yeay, AFASG2015! By the time I write this article, events' been done and dusted. For year's edition, I've attended all 3 days. Also, as with last year and year before, gave the main anisong concert a miss. Will explain the reason why later on.

For the first time ever took leave for this event. Never thought I'd be doing this but ever since Morning Musume did a surprise video stream last year, I'm not going to take chances. Well Morning Musume did appear but its via a video message greeting which was presented by the renowned Takamasa Sakurai, an otaku and j-culture panel expert. That event itself was on a Saturday 9.30AM. Got first hand info from one of my dancing sensei's Reina07 around 2 weeks before AFA. She told me to wear any Hello! Project related shirt just to show the support which Singapore has. Well I obliged but only to change my "Tanaka Reina" shirt once the panel is over.

Next Wave of Changes

So will it be the end of idorus? Lets hope not!

Projectnakitty is not dead yet! In fact 'Kitty' has been frustrated with some of the features in blogger and contemplating another wholesale change (or rather migration) to another blog portal. Especially with SEO functions, still cant figure out how to allow descriptions appear together with posts when shared to Facebook.

Alright, enough with the rants, till a new blog portal can be found, will continue on via blogger.

Tokyo Idol Festival 2015! Day 2

Here it is, Day 2 of TIF2015! Off to Odaiba again!!

Hello again Odaiba~~

Make a point to attend the performance that I've missed out. Eyeing the Smile Garden for the first half of the morning as Niji No Conquistadors will perform around 11AM. Someone dressed like Freddie Mercury appear on stage along with this guy, whom nubu said is an "air guitar" expert of sorts. Somewhat to prepare us for TIF performances, they want us to do some stretching and excercise. Thus the name of this segment "Stereo Excercise". Peculiarly they played this familiar song while we do stretching.

Tokyo Idol Festival 2015! Day 1

Tokyo Idol Festival 2015 Starto!

I've been waiting for this day to come. Tokyo Idol Festival 2015 in Odaiba! This is my 2nd time attending TIF and this time I got a free pass for the event. Free pass is given to foreigners on a first come first serve basis. I'm thankful to snag one of the few passes. I guess TIF wanted to showcase this event globally too.
