The Ultimate Halloween with The Ultimate Company



Its been a very long time since I visited Japan during Autumn. Contemplated and decided on end October to coincide with Halloween. They say Shibuya will be bursting with life with meltdowns and such, so why not? Since its Halloween, attended the Shibuya Ultimate Halloween. Event spans 3 days but its quite expensive. After some apprehension, decided on attending the last day only. Didnt regret it one bit.


Idols was in fact not the main purpose of this trip. Mainly in Japan to buy some retro game consoles. Yeap, jumping hobby after idorus. Besides, I had alot of my favourite graduated, nothing much to look out for. However, friends been urging to go, including the ever persistent MBTF. OK, relented. The biggest priority for this Halloween event is a photo with Benjamin Jasmine's Umi. Rest are secondary. Missed her out during my May trip, dont wanna miss out again.



This event spans to different live house venues around the vicinity. Initially thought they'll be spread out very very far. Its my first time visiting these Tsutaya livehouses. They have O-East, O-West, O-Crest, etc. Some of the literally are in the same building.



Below shows the timetable for Sunday's event:



Exchanged wristbands and greeted with some Inuneko from Wasuta. Uggghhhh. Hachin dressed up as a wolf I think. Same as previous Wasuta events, you can take photos and videos.



Stayed on for awhile, which headed out for some Pizza with my favourite chinese friend MBTF. Then its back to the event. Since I have nothing to do all the way to Akishibu Project, accompanied my friends to O-East to watch 81moment up till that group before Banzai Japan. Amazed that there's a number of groups you can freely take photos.



Then its off to O-West, and a group called Harp Star started performing. Basically I'm maguro-ing throughout until its Akishibu Project. I dont know, my energy level goes off the charts once Akishibu's overture started playing. Cheering for Miichan since shes the only one I know. A Japanese wota beside me joined in too. He was anticipating me to know the other member's name, it was awkward he started "Hai se no!" and I kept quiet afterwards. LOL. Up next was Shingeki! OMGGGG, SO MUCH ENERGY! SO MUCH TWO STEPS, THREE STEPS. If a group of minahs were to form an idol group, Shingeki will be it. Imoko is like some chilli padi shouting out with much gusto. Of course, theres Kotono, my dream megane girl.

First cheki was with AKSB's Hiyori, then off to familiar face Miichan. SHE REMEMBERED ME! AMAZING! Usually she will act dumb dont remember people, so was truly surprised this time. Wanted to cheki with Shingeki but the crowded snaked into oblivion. Oh well, thats it, bye bye. Alright, off to see MBTF again.



Joined him to O-East again, watched Notall and Kirameki Anforent afterwards. Kirafore means GENEI GALACTICA TIME! Furicopy to burn our fats. Sadly I have to leave during 7land's set due to BenjaminJasmine's buppan. Alright, off to find Umi!



Whoaaaa, was glad that the queue was not long. In fact one of the first few in the queue. Umi dressed as a wolf. Fuck, why you dressed the same as Hachin?! A nice girl to talk to, would go for her again if I have the chance.



Went to the roadside outdoors and found Jason, chilled and had a smoke break. Next up is Ready To Kiss and their buppan. Queued up for both Hiromin and Miho. Was tempted to cheki with Kisumin since she cosplayed as Boa Hancock. It was very very tempting.




Now the schedule are easing up. Straight away after buppan, head to duo and witnessed Kamiyado perform a One Piece song. Kinda nostalgic. Afterwards is.... HATSUKOI CIDER??? GAHHHH. Stayed for Playballs and BenjaminJasmine. Sadly no Diving Catch as they are in costume. Cant have Tsugumi tearing up her Witch cosplay. Bummer have to leave before Wyenra comes on stage too.


Back to O-West, Maneki Kecha is performing, hall packed to the brim. Still, its very strange to see other members doing Chiai's parts. Maneki over, hordes of people leaving the vicinity. Time to go infront. Last event, READY TO KISS! Energy levels off the charts again. Ayuko is no longer in the group, thus my "omaega ichiba" is set to Hiromin instead. And just like that whole event over.

Shibuya is fucking packed with Halloween revellers, had some difficulty navigating through the mass of people. We used an alternate route where do not have to cross the famed shibuya crossing. Ended up having dinner in some Don shop.

In all, I truly enjoyed this event. Its my first time entering the Tsutaya live house venues. Its my first time seeing groups such as Shingeki and Kirafore live. Its a memory that will linger for awhile. Of course the company of friends is worth it.
