SPW: Klash of Kings Event - Kenny Omega and Eyyyyaaaakkk!

Way back in August, SPW teased an Omega symbol for their Klash of Kings event. Speculation was rife that Kenny Omega would make an appearance! And appeared he did! In fact this is one of the rare few events that SPW manage to sold out within a few days!

The reveal poster damn majestic

Was lucky to nail tickets and as always attended this event together with my bro Sir HussPro. Kenny Omega would feature in a 3-on-3 tag match that features local champion The Statement, Trexxus, The Butcherman, AEW and OWE's CIMA and ... a monk?! Other matches feature Mighty Mighty, Carl Hella, Michael Nakazawa, Alexis Lee, just to name a few.

For in depth match analysis, again head over to SWS handled by another wrestling bro Naufal.

So how majestic is Kenny Omega appearing in SPW? Take a look below!

This is actually Kenny Omega's 3rd visit to Singapore. The first time he was part of the NJPW's exhibition tour. He was also a guest at GAMESTART 2018, where he duke it out with the public on Street Fighter V.

The match itself was a spectacle in itself and we're treated with the awesomeness that is wrestling. Quite comedic as evident from the twitter posts around.

Other notable match is the one featured Michael Nakazawa. Dont know him? Let this refresh your mind.

Its one of the rare SPW video that has my name mentioned somehow....

Michael Nakazawa and his signature "pants magic" brings squeals of laughter to crowd around. However the local magician/wrestler Kyle Black made his panties disappear. Had quite a laugh on this match.

There some new faces in SPW's roster, some of them can even be mistaken as veterans as they exudes the confidence and skill becoming of a pro wrestler. We were truly entertained. And we dont care, CK Vin has no other name apart from "Warrior" :P

We might not have NJPW coming over for another exhibition show, but we sure appreciate the presence of Kenny Omega and also the AEW/OWE and other international stars that made time to come over and entertain the masses. One of the few non-idoru events that I actually enjoyed, hope SPW can keep up the momentum and draw in large crowds for future events.

Lastly dedicating this post to my bro from Sir Huss Pro~
