Its Official! Launch! And 2015 Ehime Fair!

HELLO 2015!
PROJECTNAKITTY BLOG 1ST POST!

Hi everyone! Nakitty here and I am proud to announce the official launch of our webpage! Woots! Its been a long time nyan!  I believe, its been almost 2 years I first started out with my facebook page. Hehehe, I decided on a website, to store all of our reviews, updates and random stuff. Since its 2015, why not? New beginnings for our channel!

I would like to extend my thanks to all those who have been supporting and following my facebook page and youtube. ありがとうね〜〜 Alright without further ado, lets start things out with the first event post of the year!

Attended the Ehime Fair held at Jurong Point on 10th January 2015!
The week before, attended a mini event in Liang Court. The ever lovable emcee for that event, Miss Reiko, invited us to the Ehime Fair. Well, Kitty doesnt have any clash of appointments for Saturday so why not? Furthermore its been more than a year since last set foot in Jurong. Yeap, THAT LONG!

Off to Jurong! Well more accurately to Boon Lay MRT station. First order of the day is to watch the Tuna Cutting demostration.

Tuna so big!

No joke, that tuna was huge! I'm not surprised if its the same weight as me. Cutting up tuna is not an easy feat. Even with 2 chefs, beads of sweat can be seen dripping down. It takes like 15 - 30 mins to cut one up and prepare sushi. Yeap, after the demostration, sushi will be given out to the first 100 shoppers at the venue. Rest of the fish be kept at the Ehime booth.

Apart from the Tuna Cutting demonstration, Ehime's mascot Mikyan can be found! Kitty missed meeting the mascot and pose a photo with it (prime reason was we're hungry and missed that segment).

Well this Mikyan creature... I guess if you mix a dog with a mandarin orange, you'll get that. Still, Mikyan is an adorable creature, ever smiling lol.

Whos that pokemon!

They have a musical showcase too and some of Ehime's delicacies. But we didnt stay out for long to try them all. A visit to Ehime's food booth gave us the impression that Mandarin oranges are in abundance there. I mean, look at this photo... Mikyan oranges!

I'm guessing you'll turn into a Mikyan after eating these

Theres another booth nearby which showcase cycling in Ehime. Didnt take a photo but a search on youtube gave us this:

Whoa! They have a dedicated cycling road for Ehime! The view is indeed breathtaking! Heh, alright bookmark "Cycling in Ehime" as one of the Japan's to-do list XD

Alright thats all we have for this post. Till the next event nyan!
